About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar sized facility, specifically a 28-bed unit catering to a cardiac population.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU/IMCU or similar environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Proficient in managing cardiac care and related interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and related cardiac conditions.
- Administer and manage cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and various pressors.
- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the unit, handling lower acuity levels as needed.
