About The Position

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the PACU setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, PACU supplies and equipment and pharmacological agents. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire
  • Two (2) years recent PACU experience

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • CPAN certification
  • One (1) year acute adult/critical care/ICU exp within last 3 years
