Provides for the delivery of care of the patient through the utilization of the nursing process maintaining competency in age-specific criteria. Directs and guides patient/family teaching. Directs and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assists when indicated, in the orientation, skill development, and evaluation of nursing personnel. Requirements
- Minimum of one year ICU or Med Surg experience highly preferred.
- Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
- American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
- ACLS and PALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous PACU experience preferred.
Responsibilities
