About The Position
The Staff RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. Functions as the leader for a nursing unit and assumes responsibility as Charge Nurse when assigned this task. Full Time, Week Days 3 12 hr shifts. 9a-9:30p with call requirements. As a Staff RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while leading your unit and stepping in as Charge Nurse when needed. Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred.
- ACLS and PALS required within 1 year of hire date.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop personalized care plans with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
- Adjust care plans based on patient responses and ongoing evaluations.
- Lead and coordinate care during routine and emergency situations.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support cost-saving initiatives.
