About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The RN will assess, monitor, and evaluate patients throughout the recovery process while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification
• Successful completion of Pharmacology Exam
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Program or Challenge Exam
• Minimum 1 year recent experience (within the last 5 years) in: PACU, SDC, ICU, CVICU, CVPA, Emergency Room
• PACU / Recovery Room Nursing
• IV Starts
• Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Ventilator Management
• Cardiac Monitoring
• Arrhythmia Interpretation
• Patient Assessment
• Medication Administration
• Clinical Documentation
• Computerized Nursing Informatics

Nice To Haves

• Prior PACU or SDC experience preferred
• BSN Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Develop individualized patient care plans
• Communicate patient status with healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Follow infection control and hospital safety standards
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
