About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery who excels in this role: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
• Associate’s degree required.
• Must have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license
