This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in Outpatient Oncology at High Point Medical Center. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The role may involve administering medications, treatments, and therapies, demonstrating effective communication, and pursuing professional development. Adherence to ethical practices and appropriate delegation are also key aspects of the position. Accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation is required, and the nurse may be required to float to other units to meet patient care needs.
