Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho/Urology
About The Position
We are a 36-bed medical-surgical unit caring for adult patients (18-100+ years old) with a variety of diagnoses including general surgery, urology surgery, GI surgery, wound care and management, traumatic injuries, and traditional inpatient medicine. Our team consists of RNs, LPNs, and NAs. This unit offers exposure to diverse diagnoses and provides an excellent opportunity to solidify foundational nursing skills applicable to all areas of nursing. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Greater than 1 year of RN experience
