Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho/Trauma
About The Position
This is a full-time day shift position (7am-7:30pm) for a Registered Nurse in the Ortho/Trauma unit. The role involves evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. The nurse will deliver excellent nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex concerns, perform various patient tests, administer medications within the scope of practice, and promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Ortho/Trauma Department
- Experience with orthopedic patients, trauma patients, neurosurgical patients, joint replacement patients, and medical overflow patients.
