About The Position
This is a Full Time Registered Nurse position in the Ortho Joint Replacement Department at Texas Health Clearfork, located at 5400 Clearfork Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76109. The role involves working Full Time (7A-7P) for 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements. The department offers self-scheduling for work/life balance, opportunities for educational and career growth, a robust Unit Based Council (UBC), and engaged leadership. It is a fast-paced, high-volume 22-bed ortho department known for its positive culture, great preceptors, teamwork, exceptional customer service, and high satisfaction scores. The patient population includes elective surgeries such as ortho fractures, hips and knee replacements, and spines.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program.
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days.
