About The Position

Comfort Home Care is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Per-Diem positions in the Waltham/Arlington/Lexington area. This role offers a better work/life balance and the opportunity to make a real impact by providing compassionate care to psychiatric and home health patients in their own homes, helping them remain independent and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations. The compensation is $35 per visit for an RN or $30 per visit for an LPN, with an expectation of two visits per hour on average. Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts.
One year of nursing experience (home health or psych preferred).
A drive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Reliable transportation for patient visits.

Responsibilities

Assess and adapt to each patient's current condition, medical needs, and overall well-being during visits.
Create and modify patient care plans based on individual needs and changing conditions.
Teach and support patients, providing medication guidance or wound care instructions to promote independence.
Communicate and coordinate with providers, families, and care teams to ensure timely and appropriate care.
Document patient visit notes accurately for compliance and continuity of care.
