About The Position
The Surgical RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients before, during and after surgery. This includes creating and maintaining a sterile and safe environment, providing preoperative and postoperative instruction, monitoring the physiological and psychological status of the patient, coordinating patient care, and acting as a patient advocate. The position is Full Time Days, Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with call. The nurse may also float to Outpatient Surgery.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must have minimum of one year of operating room experience or critical care experience.
- Must be BLS and ACLS certified.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

- Experience preferred.
