Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Rooms - Training Opportunity
About The Position
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for a specialty training opportunity in the Operating Rooms. This initiative is part of the provincial implementation of minimum Nurse to Patient Ratios (mNPRs), aimed at enhancing nursing practice and strengthening quality of care. This training opportunity requires full-time attendance and successful completion of a post-basic training education program prior to working in the Department. Successful candidates agree to remain with VCH as a regular status nurse in the applicable nursing area for at least 18 months subsequent to completing training. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) designation.
- Resume and cover letter required to apply.
- Must successfully complete the post-basic training education program.
- Agree to remain with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as a regular status nurse for at least 18 months subsequent to completing training.
- Provide required vaccine and infection history as per Ministry of Health policy.
- Ability to attend full-time training.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the Operating Room department.
