Our BMC Inpatient Operating Rooms offer support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide care for our patients! This unit has a highly experienced team that supports 24 new state of the art inpatient/outpatient operating rooms and 8 heart and vascular and neurology interventional procedure rooms, performing surgical procedures to restore and enhance the lives of patients. This unit operates 24/7 with coverage and support expectations of weekends and off-shift rotations at least quarterly. Baystate Medical Center is known as a teaching hospital that leads in surgical innovation. We use the latest minimally invasive procedures and robot-assisted techniques and offer a wide range of both general and specialty surgical care. Requirements

  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
  • Diploma in Nursing (Required)
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

  • BSN preferred.
