About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. The role involves managing patient care, delivering care based on evidence-based guidelines, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The position offers tiered pay rates based on commitment and flexibility, with different tiers requiring varying numbers of shifts, flexibility in floating to different campuses, and participation in call rotations for higher tiers. The facility is part of the Coastal Community Health network, a collaboration between Baptist Health and Southeast Georgia Health System.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Diploma, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Program
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia
Responsibilities
- Effectively managing the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population
- Delivering patient care utilizing standardized evidenced-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment
- Communicating, collaborating, and functioning with other members of the health team to provide optimum care
