About The Position

Texas Health Denton is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room team. This full-time, day shift position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The hospital is a 255-bed, full-service facility with a strong focus on various specialties including Cancer Care, Critical Care, Women & Infants Care, and Heart & Vascular Services. Texas Health Denton is a Joint Commission-accredited Primary (Level II) Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, a Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and a Magnet® designated hospital.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
1 year operating room experience highly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
1 year operating room experience highly preferred
