About The Position

Registered Nurse RN - Oncology Bring your passion to THR so we are Better + Together!! Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial: 800 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, Texas 76012 Work hours: Full Time (36 hours); Nights, 3 - 12 hour shifts Department highlights: Team based environment Workplace culture 2nd to none Great benefits/ 401k / PTO 20-bed unit Med/Surg and Telemetry overflow 5:1 ratio, but practices team nursing so you are paired with another nurse and a PCT for 10 patients

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days required
• ONS – Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate 18 months required

Nice To Haves

• Oncology or end-of-life experience preferred
• OCN – Oncology Certified Nurse upon hire preferred
