About The Position

Arise CareStaff is hiring Oncology (ONC) Registered Nurses (RN) to work for our client hospital in Los Angeles, CA. This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology (ONC). The position is for a 13-week duration and involves night shifts, working 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30. The role requires computer charting using Epic.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification by the American Heart Association
• Chemo-ONS Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Oncology (ONC) Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
