About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Surgical Oncology Clinic is an adult medical oncology/hematology community medicine practice located in Rock Hill, SC. Our providers are general medical oncologist and hematologist that treat patients with all types of cancers and blood disorders. Our clinical team includes nurses, medical assistants, MLTs, physician assistants, doctors including a breast surgeon, care coordinators, pharmacists, and nurse navigators. We are open Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. We welcome you to join our Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte! Across our 14-county region, we provide comprehensive care in over 600 locations in an array of settings including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Infusion, Cardiology, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Virtual Care, and various other medical specialties. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
• Oncology and triage experience

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
• Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
