Requirements

Current RN license in the State of Missouri.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice experience strongly preferred).
Strong communication, assessment, and crisis-intervention skills.
CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
A genuine heart for hospice and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Respond to on-call visits within a 50-mile radius of Springfield, offering timely and compassionate care.
Deliver high-quality hospice nursing services after hours, including crisis response and death calls.
Provide clear communication, emotional guidance, and education to families.
Document all services accurately and promptly to ensure continuity of care.
