Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies, procedures and standards of the Nursing division and the Hospital. Coordinates, directs and serves as the resource to nursing staff to ensure delivery of quality patient care in accordance with accepted standards. Clinical resource with strong organizational & communication skills in coordination & facilitation of patient flow. Coordinates the allocation of nursing staff resources. Interprets & clarifies hospital policies for the nursing staff & other personnel. Assists in the orientation & ongoing development of nursing staff, providing input to Nurse Managers. Supports and facilitates staff nurse attendance and participation at hospital meetings. This position requires sound decision making in critical situations.QualificationsEducation/Experience:Graduate of an accredited school of nursingThree years recent nursing experienceMinimum BSN or in process requiredCurrent acute care and leadership skills requiredCertification/License:Current Massachusetts RN licensureBCLS requiredACLS preferred Pay Range: $38.46 - $84.13The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
