About The Position

This is a day shift, full-time position for a Nuclear Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The role involves being accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development across the lifespan, and assessing/interpreting data reflective of patient status and age-specific needs. Planning for patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care, is also a key responsibility. Adherence to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act is expected.

Requirements

Associate's Degree of Nursing (ADN)
Must maintain current Texas RN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Nice To Haves

ACLS, PALS, BALS may be required in specific unit

Responsibilities

Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
