About The Position

The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center that helps adolescents ages 15-18 work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. YRC is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) with a special interest in the adolescent population to join our Youth Recovery team! This is a PRN NIGHT Shift position with 12-hour shifts. The role offers shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work. The hospital is an independent facility located on the Western Slope of Colorado, aiming to keep community members healing in their hometown.

Requirements

Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain required.
1 year experience working as a Registered Nurse required.
Minimum of 1 year RN work experience, preferable in the areas of Acute Care, Psychiatric, or Addiction preferred.

Responsibilities

Assesses level of risk and makes appropriate clinical judgment for resolution of client emergencies resulting in a safe outcome.
Must be able and willing to participate in recreation activities with clients.
Must be willing to gain skills in substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent health.
