About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) working nights at an Oklahoma City LTACH. The position offers $60 per hour and is a great opportunity for those who want to stay local and do not need benefits. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The role may also include Charge Nurse duties, which require ACLS certification.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA approved).
  • Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment (AHA approved).
  • Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
  • Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care.
  • Interdisciplinary planning.
  • Discharge planning.
  • Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
  • Accessing community resources.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
