About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital-OKC, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for their New Graduate program. This full-time day shift position offers a starting compensation of $37.16 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital specializes in providing exceptional care for individuals with complex medical conditions including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. The program includes an extensive orientation, tuition reimbursement, continuing education, a clinical ladder program, and a student debt benefit program.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
Valid State RN License is required.
BLS required at hire.
Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
Applicants may apply before being licensed however must have a license upon start date.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the physician and preceptor, ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
Initiate an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of the patients/families.
Interpret assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals, and discharge planning.
Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
Assure that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.
