About The Position
Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) for its 18-bed Medical Surgical Unit. This role is part of Lifepoint Health, a healthcare delivery network. The position includes enrollment in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support new graduates in transitioning to competent registered nurses. The program is structured in three phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development, with paid participation, flexible learning modules, one-on-one preceptor support, and a Capstone project focused on evidence-based practice.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited nursing school
- RN Licensure
- BCLS

- Performing comprehensive assessments, identifying patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Effectively managing time and prioritizing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Asking questions, seeking feedback, and continuously building clinical knowledge and confidence.
