Registered Nurse RN Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Neuro Surgical Trauma (NeST) ICU team at their Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. This unit is Idaho's first and only Neuro, Surgical, Trauma Unit, caring for patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injuries/illnesses requiring intensive care. The role involves utilizing skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, working with advanced technology and board-certified, fellowship-trained neuro critical care doctors. The unit consists of 18 critical care beds and provides state-of-the-art care.
Requirements
- Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
Nice To Haves
- Critical care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injury/illness that require intensive level care.
- Utilizing skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Working with the only board certified, fellowship-trained neuro critical care doctors in the state.
- Providing next level care for patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment.
