About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is hiring an experienced Neuro ICU / IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a specialized neuroscience unit. The role involves caring for critically ill neurological patients and supporting both ICU and stepdown care environments. The position is a travel contract role located in Atlanta, GA, requiring night shifts of 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week. The nurse will be required to float between ICU and stepdown units as needed. Patient ratios are 1:1-1:2 in the ICU and 1:3-1:4 in the Stepdown (IMCU).

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/IMCU experience
• Strong Neuro experience (Mandatory)
• Professional References
• Certification Cards (as required)
• Nursys License Verification
• Updated resume with no gaps greater than 60 days

Nice To Haves

• Experience in neuroscience or specialized ICU units
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in Neuro ICU and IMCU settings
• Monitor neurological status and respond to critical changes
• Manage ventilators, IV drips, and critical care equipment
• Ensure patient safety and follow clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
• Float between ICU and stepdown units as required
