Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal ICU Weekend Program
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Bryn Mawr Hospital. This role is part of our Weekend Program, offering a unique opportunity to work every other weekend while providing critical care to newborns. As a Staff Nurse in the NICU, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 14-bed unit, playing an integral part in the patient experience. You will be responsible for the care and treatment of critically ill newborns. Requirements
- One year(s) of recent neonatal nurse experience required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
- NRP certification required.
Nice To Haves
- 2 plus years neonatal nursing preferred.
- BSN preferred.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the 14-bed Neonatal ICU unit.
- Provide care and treatment for critically ill newborns.
- Participate in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, and evidence-based research projects.
- Precept new staff.
- Pursue the Clinical Ladder program.
