The Registered Nurse (RN) in Women's Services will utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. This role provides expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, and serves as a leader and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN will be knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents, and will manage patient loads within assigned timelines. The position is full-time (1.0 FTE) with 12-hour shifts starting at 0700, requiring three (3) shifts per week, including rotating weekends.
