About The Position

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes. We are seeking an experienced full-time RN to join our Clinic Float Pool Team in the Milwaukee area. $4.00 Float pool shift differential offered. Transportation is essential for the position due to the requirement to float to 12 different clinics. Float clinic locations may include: Whitefish Bay - 325 E. Silver Spring Dr Midtown - 5818 W Capitol Dr River Center- 1575 River Center Dr Third Ward- 163 N Milwaukee St. Village of Manor Park - 3023 S 84th St St. Luke's Family Practice - 2801 W Kinnickinnic Suite 250. St. Luke’s Faculty Physicians - 2801 W Kinnickinnic Suite 770 Wiselives- 8320 W. Bluemound Rd Sinai Family Care Center - 1020 N 12th St Sinai Internal Medicine - 1020 N 12th St Sinai Women’s Health - 1020 N 12th St As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical RN experience is preferred.
