About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a multidisciplinary mental health treatment team providing patient-centered and recovery-focused care to individuals with serious mental illness. The RN will play a critical role in coordinating care, conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and supporting patients and families throughout the recovery process.

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Mental health or behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Background check required
• Measles and Rubella vaccination
• Tuberculosis screening
• Seasonal influenza vaccination or mask compliance during declared influenza season

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized nursing care plans
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Provide health education, counseling, and support to patients and families
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition
• Implement infection control protocols and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support recovery-focused treatment goals and patient advocacy
• Participate in required training and compliance programs
