About The Position

Martha and Mary Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for senior care to join our nursing team as a medication/treatment nurse. This role involves administering routine and PRN medications and treatments in a timely manner, providing adequate monitoring of residents' conditions, and collaborating with other disciplines to support services that encourage residents' highest level of functioning. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse License required
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of and ability to deal with confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintaining perspective and a sense of humor, responding positively to changes.
  • Handling people and situations with understanding, diplomacy and tact.
  • Setting priorities and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Problem solving and ability to handle unexpected/unpredictable circumstances.

  • Must have a genuine interest in caring for the elderly and long-term care of residents.
  • Good documentation skills
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work with the team to cover additional hours, vacations, holidays, weekends, as able.

Responsibilities

  • Administers routine and PRN medications and treatments in a timely manner.
  • Provides adequate monitoring of the residents conditions.
  • Works with other disciplines to support services that encourage a resident’s highest level of functioning.

  • $1,000 FULL TIME NEW HIRE BONUS
  • $5,000 FULL-TIME NEW HIRE BONUS FOR 10pm-6am SHIFT
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek. These accruals include the required sick leave per Washington State’s Paid Sick Leave Law
