About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Med/Surg Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. This role requires experience in step-down or telemetry units and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 1–2 years of Step-Down/Telemetry experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in acute care hospital settings
- Strong telemetry and patient monitoring skills
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a step-down/telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess adult and geriatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Manage patient care for up to 6 patients per shift
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
