About The Position
Arise CareStaff is hiring Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Registered Nurses (RN) to work for our client hospital in Bakersfield, CA. This is a travel position with a start date of 08/03/2026 and a duration of 13 weeks. The shift is a Night Shift (3x12 hours) from 19:00-07:30. Computer charting is done via Cerner and Epic.
Requirements
- California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 6 months of EPIC experience within the last 12 months
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Registered Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical (MedSurg) setting.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Document patient care using Cerner and Epic charting systems.
