About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will play a key role in supporting patients through pre- and post-surgical recovery, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care or post-acute setting
Strong clinical skills in: Patient assessment, Medication administration, Wound care and infection control, IV therapy, Post-operative care, Patient education, Telemetry monitoring
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA

Experience with EPIC EMR system

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Deliver direct bedside care to pre- and post-operative patients
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, IV insertion, and catheterization
Monitor and interpret vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any changes promptly
Operate and manage specialized medical equipment
Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and patient transitions
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Adhere to established clinical standards, protocols, and safety guidelines
