About The Position

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical Surgical Float Pool. This position is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks opportunities for learning and growth. MedSurg float RNs provide support to med-surg and mixed acuity units, and will float between the two Lowell General Hospital campuses (Main & Saints campus). This role offers a float pool hourly differential and requires working two weekend shifts per month.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing.
• Associate’s degree in nursing (must enroll in BSN within one year).
• BLS required.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1-2 years in telemetry/Critical care is preferred.
• BSN is strongly preferred.
• Specialized certifications preferred; PCCN or CVRN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support med-surg and mixed acuity units.
• Float between the Lowell General Hospital Main and Saints campuses.
• Work two weekend shifts a month.
• Participate in unit-based councils or other council opportunities.
