Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Cardiology
About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a fast-paced and rewarding nursing environment. The 7Heart unit specializes in patients with acute and chronic disease processes, including congestive heart failure patients and cardiology patients requiring diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation and other dysrhythmias. The unit also extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases and supports med/surg overflow patients. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.

- Cardiac/critical care experience preferred
