About The Position

The Medical/Cardiac ICU at Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU
Registered Nurse. This is a part time, night shift position working 7:00pm –
7:00am.
2 x 12-hour shifts/week
Must be able to orient during various shifts

This Beacon Award Winning Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a challenging
Medical/Cardiac ICU that cares for a variety of diagnoses in our 12-bed unit.
The patient population includes but is not limited to end-stage disease
processes, sepsis, advanced heart failure, stroke, cardiac arrest, respiratory
failure and others that require more intensive nursing care.

-Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination
through an understanding of the patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery
team.

-Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and

outcomes of financial and clinical quality, through relationships and

-Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for
self-development in life-long learning

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required.
• ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN)- must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
