Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (surgical ortho)
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Med/Surg 2 surgical unit, specializing in post-surgical and orthopedic care. The unit has 16 private beds for post-surgical patients and 8 private beds for orthopedic patients. The nursing team collaborates with physicians and subspecialties to provide high-quality, personalized recovery support. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The nurse will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
