About The Position
Currently looking for qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates to fill 13-week contracts for a Med Surg resource pool at a great facility in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Interested candidates must have recent acute care experience, with an ability to remain calm under pressure. 2 years of recent Med Surg or acute care experience is required. Night and Day shifts are available.
Requirements
- Active RN license within the state of Indiana
- 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
- Must be willing to float
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and delegate to healthcare staff during procedures.
- Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
- Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
- Provide basic, bedside care to medical-surgical patients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure Patient rights and saftey.
