About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, VT. This is a Med Surg position that combines medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation, focusing on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury to restore function and independence through therapies (physical, occupational, speech) and specialized medical/nursing care, often in an inpatient setting, aiming to improve quality of life by treating the whole person.

Requirements

Must have 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
Must have CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE - Not negotiable!
Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required]
Must have Vermont RN License or Compact - Must be uploaded with profile
Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
Coordinates total nursing care for patients
Participates in patient and family teaching
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
CALL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED.
May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice
