About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. The Manager of Perioperative Services is responsible for direction of patient care in the perioperative environment. The Manager manages the staff members in all Perioperative Departments. This role involves consulting with staff, physicians and the Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. The Manager also maintains performance improvement activities within the department and assists with formulation of budget for the department.

Requirements

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• Current ACLS (AHA) Certification upon hire and maintain current.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
• Current PALS (AHA) certification for those facilities caring for pediatric population.
