About The Position
Provides safe, quality care in the perioperative/procedural areas. Implements the nursing process; assessment, planning, implementation of nursing plan of care, and evaluation of patient response to care. Coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines. This position requires working at both CMH Ventura and CMH Ojai Preop Pacu locations.
Requirements
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life (ACLS) Certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- One (1) year of acute care nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN)
- Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA)
- ASPAN membership
- PANAC membership
- Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing software
- Bilingual in Spanish
