Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted RN or LPN/LVN license in the United States
  • NCLEX qualification (for internationally trained nurses)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care practices, nursing procedures, and patient care standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make independent clinical decisions

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and respond to changes in health status
  • Perform clinical procedures including wound care, catheterization, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs
  • Support rehabilitation, restorative care, and patient wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and reports
  • Transcribe physician orders and ensure proper implementation of care plans
  • Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Prepare and manage admission, transfer, and discharge documentation
  • Administer medications safely and in line with physician instructions
  • Monitor and report medication effects and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate narcotics records and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and junior staff
  • Assist in staff coordination, shift planning, and performance monitoring
  • Promote a positive, patient-centered care environment
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and facility inspections
  • Report incidents, hazards, and compliance issues as required
