About The Position

Eventide Fargo is seeking a Full-time RN/LPN to work the overnight shift (6:00p-6:30a) with a set rotation of every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This role provides the highest degree of nursing care, consistent with current standards and Eventide's philosophy and procedures. A weekend status shift differential of $5.00, weekend hours differential of $2.00, and overnight shift differential of $5.00 are applied to the base wage.

Requirements

  • Active ND RN or LPN License or ability to obtain upon hire.

  • Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized plans of care, updating them as necessary.
  • Administers medications and treatments and monitors their effectiveness.
  • Provides direct nursing care to residents as needed.
  • Provides accurate documentation in residents’ records.
  • Provides effective leadership to subordinate staff, which may include disciplinary measures.
  • Ensures that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Provides information, education, and support for residents and their families.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and assists in finding replacements when needed.
  • Communicates the needs of the residents to all resident care staff on the unit.
  • Interacts with physicians and advanced practitioners and health care facilities as needed.
  • Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
  • Assists with resident care conferences.
  • Assists in orientation/training of new team members.
  • Encourages and assists residents to attain their highest physical, mental, psychosocial well-being.
  • Responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect or violation of resident’s rights per policy.
  • Complies with rules and regulations as set forth by the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
  • Assumes accountability for management of their individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.
