About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Liberty Emergency Department, working 32 hours per week on the PM shift. The role involves following professional practice standards, contributing to peer development, and utilizing the nursing process for safe and ethical practice. It requires systems thinking to understand and improve the healthcare environment for patients and families, considering patient values and cultural differences in care. The position also emphasizes clinical judgment, including interpreting complex patient data, recognizing patterns, documenting care, responding to subtle changes, and tailoring care to individual patient and family needs. The nurse will integrate age-specific concepts, support self-management, use teach-back strategies, coordinate education, and facilitate adaptation to the home environment.

Requirements

Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution requires 2+ years of experience.
If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire date/RN job date and complete program within 5 years of hire/RN job date.
Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.
2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMeritTM per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates.
