About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join a hospital team on a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS Certification preferred.
- NRP Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and care for laboring patients and newborns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and obstetric complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
