This role involves monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, and collaborating with the care team to influence care outcomes. The RN upholds and promotes a culture of safety, continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, and may administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely. Effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution are key, as is fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation. The position requires pursuing professional development, completing required education, and maintaining certifications, while adhering to ethical decision-making and respecting interdisciplinary roles. The RN will maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and may be required to float to other units to meet patient care needs. This role requires knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patients served, demonstrating an understanding of growth and development over the life span.
