Labor and Delivery
GW is where Labor & Delivery nurses come to level up fast- High acuity experience, strong physician collaboration, and the kind of cases you won't see everywhere. We provide clinically advanced, personalized childbirth services with a collaborative approach with Advanced Practitioners and Providers. As a teaching and research hospital, advanced science is accessible for the most challenging birth situations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, NRP (or obtained within three months of employment)
• BLS
• Current state nursing license.
• Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Skills: Effective interpersonal skills
• Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Skills: Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities

Nice To Haves

• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Requirements specified for specialty unit
